Overview

FiniteBit LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) builds software that respects your privacy. This policy describes how we handle information for MyOriginals (iOS) and this website.

MyOriginals

MyOriginals is a photo management app that helps you organize your photo library by identifying and hiding photos and videos not taken by your devices. Your privacy is central to how we built it.

MyOriginals does not collect, transmit, or share any data. The app runs entirely on your device. It does not use network connections, analytics, tracking, or telemetry.

Photo library access

MyOriginals requests access to your photo library to:

• Read photo and video metadata (such as camera make and model) to identify which device took each item
• Hide photos and videos that don’t match your chosen devices (using the system Hidden album)
• Unhide items when you choose to reverse an action

MyOriginals does not delete any photos or videos. It only changes whether items are visible or hidden in your library.

Data storage

Settings and operational data (such as your chosen devices, scan history, and recently hidden items) are stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your device, is not accessible to other apps, and is removed when you uninstall the app.

This Website

This website (finitebit.com) is separate from our apps. It does not require you to sign in, and we want to be transparent about the limited, privacy-friendly analytics we use here.

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand aggregate traffic (such as page views, referrers, country, device type, and page performance). These tools are cookieless: they do not set cookies, do not build advertising profiles, and do not track you across other websites. The data is aggregated and is not used to identify you individually.

Our hosting provider (Vercel) may also collect basic technical data (such as IP address or browser type) for security and reliability.

If you contact us by email, we use your message and contact details only to respond. We do not use them for marketing unless you have agreed otherwise.

Third-Party Services

We keep our use of third-party services minimal and limited to this website. We use Vercelfor hosting, web analytics, and performance monitoring of finitebit.com. See Vercel’s own privacy practices for how they process data on our behalf. Our apps do not use any third-party services, SDKs, or analytics.

Your Rights and Requests

You can contact us at any time to ask about the data we hold about you, to request correction or deletion of contact or account data, or to raise a privacy concern. We will respond in line with applicable law. For MyOriginals, all processing happens on your device, so there is no account or central data to access or delete beyond what you control locally.

Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. MyOriginals does not collect personal information from anyone. For our other products and this website, we comply with applicable laws regarding children’s privacy.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. For material changes, we may give additional notice (for example in-app or by email) where appropriate.
