Terms of Service
Last updated: May 30, 2026
By using MyOriginals (“the App”), you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. What MyOriginals Does
MyOriginals scans your photo library metadata to identify media not taken by your approved devices. Media not from your approved devices is hidden using Apple’s built-in Hidden album. MyOriginals does not delete photos or videos.
2. No Warranty
The App is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. The developer does not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.
3. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, photos, videos, or other media, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the App, even if the developer has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event shall the developer’s total liability exceed the amount you paid for the App.
4. Your Responsibility
You are solely responsible for your photo library and any actions taken within the App. MyOriginals is designed to hide photos (move them to the Hidden album), not delete them. You should review scan results before confirming any action. You can unhide photos at any time using the App or the built-in Photos app.
5. Privacy
MyOriginals processes all data locally on your device. The App does not collect, transmit, or store your personal data, photos, or metadata on any external server. The App contains no analytics or tracking.
Our website (finitebit.com) is separate from the App and uses limited, cookieless analytics to understand aggregate traffic. See our Privacy Policy for details.
6. Intellectual Property
The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by the developer and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
7. Changes to Terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
8. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer resides, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
